Ideas, beliefs, moods, ways of seeing — they behave like living things. They find hosts. They compete for room. They borrow our voices and our attention to make more of themselves.

Some of them help us breathe. Some quietly close us in. By the time we notice the shape of one, we are usually already inside it, already speaking from inside it, already passing it on.

This is a way of looking. Six instruments for noticing — and a way to hand what you find to the elements, who will think it through together and write something back.

It is not a belief system. It is not a path. The map knows it is a map.

How the learning moves

  1. Meet the six Each element is a way of noticing, kept by a guide with its own voice, instruments, and failure modes. Start with whichever one turned above and held your eye — or take the Mirror and let six questions show you where your attention already leans.
  2. Hear their accounts The guides tell stories of humans who brought them something real — each one carrying the story as far as its element can, then handing it to the next. Watch a reading move before you make one.
  3. Take a reading of your own Bring a live situation. An element walks you from domain to facet to a stance you choose, hands you a φ, and passes you around the relay.
  4. Go deeper with a guide At the end of a reading, the guide who read with you can take it further in conversation — once you already know how it thinks.
  5. Sundays, it weaves Aether reads across every relay that completed the circle that week — the stances taken, the chains, what carried forward.
